Either you believe
It when you see it
Or you doubt it forever.
The eastern cliffs dripped with gold
In the morning, with scarlet
In the afternoon,
Systematic semaphores
Signaling nothing.
We had fun today.
We assembled a planter
With potted flowers, bird seed,
And a hummingbird feeder.
We spent two hours at the pool.
Experience is not school.
